I opened Gemma’s Hair Studio in 2015 as a young 19 year old with no idea but I knew how to work hard & I had passion!

I’ve turned my love for hair and people into the salon it is today.

Over the years, I’ve loved watching the salon grow, particularly building an amazing team and creating a space where clients feel comfortable, welcome and always up for a good chat and laugh.

I love all things colour & bridal styling!  Beautiful blondes and lived-in colour are my favourite. I love creating hair that feels like you’ve had a transformation or fresh & effortless when you leave the salon. 

 

Outside of the salon, I’m a busy mum of five kids! I love spending time with my family. Home is on a little bit of land, so life is usually busy, outdoors and always involves animals, cooking or planting. I love being creative, travelling, camping and packing up the caravan for a family adventure whenever we get the chance! Northern Territory is my favourite go to getaway!

Elizabeth is the salon manager and principal stylist at Gemma’s Hair Studio, bringing almost 10 years of experience and a genuine passion for making her clients feel their absolute best.

​

Elizabeth has a particular love for creating beautiful blondes, while also enjoying soft, lived-in colour and natural-looking results. She takes pride in creating a personalised experience for every client, tailoring each appointment to suit their individual style, hair goals and lifestyle. For Elizabeth, it’s all about making her clients feel relaxed, pampered and confident when they leave the salon.

Outside of the salon, Elizabeth loves catching up with friends over a good coffee, Pilates, long walks and enjoying a date night at a new restaurant with her fiancé. She’s also happiest in the kitchen, cooking up a delicious meal or baking something sweet!

Britt has been a principal stylist at Gemma’s Hair Studio since 2018.

She’s a lover of all things colour, from lived-in, seamless blends, bright blondes and glossy brunettes.

​

Britt loves tailoring each appointment to the individual client, taking the time to really understand what they want and offering advice where needed to help create hair that makes them walk out of the salon feeling confident, fresh and glowing.

​

She also has a real passion for event and bridal styling. Whether its a bouncy blow or trending up do, Britt will work her magic.

Outside of the salon, Britt is wife to Dylan, mum to two beautiful boys and our much-loved salon pup, Franki. 

She loves making the most of weekends by getting away with her family in their caravan, being outdoors in the sun, finding a new restaurant to obsess over and a pilates class with her besties. 

Shayde has been part of the Gemma’s Hair Studio team as a principal stylist for seven years and has spent fifteen years working behind the chair. A self-confessed perfectionist, she has a slight obsession with getting every detail just right. Foiling is definitely her passion.

​

She loves creating seamless blends and high-impact blonde transformations, but also enjoys working with her clients’ natural tones to create soft, lived-in colour and low-maintenance styles. For Shayde, hair is a little bit like therapy. She loves spending the day behind the chair, foiling away while having a good chat, sharing a laugh and occasionally helping clients vent about their week.

​

Outside of the salon, Shayde is kept busy spending time with her husband and two children, cheering the kids on at their sports and trying to keep the house clean. When she gets a moment to herself, you’ll usually find her enjoying lots of chocolate or relaxing with a few glasses of wine on the weekend.

Talana has been a member of the Gemma’s Hair Studio team for almost 7 years and in that time she has attained her principal stylist status. 

 

T is know mainly for her signature high coverage blonde packages.

Whilst being known for her blonde bombshells she also enjoys creating lived in and complementary blonde tones.

 

Booking in with T will not just give you a complementary colour but also a tailored experience. 

 

When she’s off the tools, T enjoys spending quality time with her fiancé, discovering new foods, trying new experiences and planning their next big getaway.

She also loves staying active at the gym and, most importantly, spending time with family and loved ones. 

Lucy M is an emerging stylist at Gemma’s Hair Studio.

​

She has a genuine passion for creating beautiful, natural-looking hair, with a particular love for blended, lived-in blondes. Lucy enjoys creating colour that feels effortless and personalised to each client, and she is always excited to learn new techniques and continue building her confidence behind the chair.

​

Outside of the salon, Lucy loves keeping busy and enjoying the little things. She loves to socialise whenever she can, and is always up for a walk and a cup of tea. Lucy won’t stop chatting about clothes and her current favourite song of the week or even favourite candle scent. Shes easy going and loves seeing new faces!

Lucy is an Established Stylist at Gemma’s Hair Studio.

 

She brings a bubbly, creative energy to the salon and loves creating an environment where every client feels comfortable, confident and beautiful.

 

She has a passion for creating lived-in and bright blondes, glossy brunettes and of course finished with a bouncy blow dry! Always tailoring each appointment to suit her client. Lucy loves the creativity that comes with hairdressing and seeing a transformation come to life, but her favourite part is getting to know her clients and making them feel their absolute best. She’s always up for a good chat and loves when an appointment feels like catching up with a friend.

Outside of the salon, Lucy loves keeping active with gym and long walks, usually with a matcha in hand. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, trying new things and finding new ways to keep busy and creative. She’s happiest spending time with the people she loves, making plans, having a laugh and, of course, enjoying a cheeky glass of white wine.

Daniela is a principal stylist at Gemma’s Hair Studio bringing with her 19 years of experience and a genuine love for making people feel their very best. She is committed to continually learning and refining her skills, Daniela takes great pride in helping every client leave the salon feeling confident, beautiful and effortlessly fabulous.

 

Beyond the salon, Daniela is a devoted wife and proud mum to three beautiful children. When she’s not creating beautiful hair, you’ll find her enjoying family camping trips, weekend getaways, Pilates, movie nights and, of course, always on the hunt for a great coffee! She loves spending quality time with family and friends and making the most of life’s little moments.

Ava Morrison has been part of the Gemma’s Hair Studio team for the past four years, qualifying as a hairdresser in May last year she is an incredible established stylist. 

​

Ava loves all things blondes and brondes, from bright, and fresh to softer, lived-in tones. She has a soft spot for a classic blow wave. But most of all, Ava loves creating genuine relationships with each client who sits in her chair, taking the time to understand what they’re looking for and making sure they leave the salon feeling confident, refreshed and their absolute best.

Outside of the salon, Ava loves spending time with friends, going for a coffee and a long walk, and getting to the gym. The way to her heart is a thin-stemmed glass of red wine, a big bowl of pasta and, of course, something sweet to finish.
